I really gave the military and police order to be ruthless_Muhammadu Buhari


The President of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari said he had given orders to law enticement officers to be ruthless with anyone involved in election fraud following the postponement if the country's fourth coming general elections.
     These were his words,  “I really gave the military and police orders to be ruthless”, “I want Nigerians to be respected, let them vote  whoever they want across the parties. The President on Monday in Abuja being the country's capital city, at an emergency meeting called by his ruling party, the All Progressive Congress.
      In addition he said, “I'm going to warn anybody who thinks he has enough influence in his locality to lead a body of thugs to snatch valor boxes or disturb the voting system, will do so at the expense of his own life.
      President Muhammadu Buhari, 76, is standing for re-election after promising to run for only one tenor in 2015 general election, will be running against 71other candidates for the country's highest office. His main rival is Atiku Abubakar, 72, a business tycoon and a former vice president.
      This decree was made following the several violence in the build up to the polls, prompting warnings from the British and US government that they would deny visas to and likely prosecute anyone found inviting violence during the election.
The electoral officers housing voting materials in Abia, Anambra and Plateau states were burnt Shem by disordered arsonists days before the presidential election.
      On Tuesday a terror group with link to Isis claimed responsibility for a deadly attack on a motorcade carrying the governor of Nigeria's northeastern, Borno state.
