The secretary Otukpo golf club, in Benue state has announced that the club would not be able to harbor any player in the on coming PGA of Nigeria qualifying school following the campaigns and special activities in the state. The secretary, in the person of Oga Ekwu, talking about the position of the club in 2019/2020 qualifying school in Thursday in a phone chat said, “this is election period and most of the people that could have come out to sponsor the players are in politics”.
Ekwu saying the club has good players for the programme said, “most of the politicians have channeled their money into campaign and would not want to listen to talks of sponsorships this around, because they also need money”.
