Atiku Abubakar-Youth Assurance
The presidential candidate of PDP (the People's Democratic Party) had in one of his numerous campaign promises given assurance to Nigerian youth to run a youth-driven administration ahead of the 2019 general election dated to be on the Friday 16th, 2019 if he emerges winner. He gave this assurance in the presidential campaign in lafia, Nasarawa state on thursday. According to him the essence of running the youth driven administration is to prepare them to garner experience for goods and effectual governance.
These were his words, “let me make this commitment that 40% of my government will be dedicated to the youth and 30% to the women. This is because I want the youth to garner enough experience to be able to take over from us”.
He also said that in order to end the Hunger and poverty and insecurity in the nation Nigeria, the masses should endeavor to view for the PDP in the oncoming general election.
